I'm not sure why I took this picture. Maybe because it's a rickety old gate.

You see a lot of rickety old gates in the East Village.

Someone should paint this. It would look a lot nicer, and it would keep the metal from corroding further.

Maybe they'll decorate it for Halloween — put some spider-web stuff on it, some ghosts…
