Bicycles Back in Action

The melting of the snow and ice that has blanketed the East Village recently has made it possible for East Villagers to resume engaging in their favorite mode of transportation: bicycling!

I was at St. Mark's Place and Second Avenue yesterday, when I saw this scene:
